Brett has over 13 years NHS experience, and gained his First Class Honours in Adult Nursing in 2015 before starting a nursing career at Southampton General Hospital, and within 18 months took the roll of Charge Nurse for the Urology Ward, gaining practical skills and knowledge as well as leadership and management experience. This eventually led to spending 18 months working as a urology nurse Practitioner where he commenced his Advanced Clinical Practice MSc pathway.
In 2021 after moving to London he took the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist and his passion for benign Urology exploded. In this time he gained competency in urodynamics and assessment and treatment in lower urinary tract symptoms.
Brett has published an article in the Nursing Standard on catheter care and later this year his second article on male lower urinary tract symptoms is due to be published.
